Masseria Li Veli

Masseria Li Veli stands as a beacon of Apulian winemaking, rooted in the fertile lands of Salento, Puglia. Originally established in the late 19th century by the esteemed economist Marchese Antonio de Viti de Marco, the estate was envisioned as a model winery for Southern Italy. Revitalised in 1999 by the Falvo family, renowned for their work with Tuscany's Avignonesi, Li Veli has since become synonymous with quality and tradition.

Spanning over 33 hectares, the estate's vineyards are dedicated to indigenous grape varieties such as Primitivo, Negroamaro, Susumaniello and Verdeca. Employing sustainable farming practices and traditional bush-trained (alberello) vine systems, Li Veli crafts wines that reflect the unique terroir of Salento. Their commitment to preserving rare native varietals is evident in their "Askos" line, showcasing the rich biodiversity of the region. From robust reds to aromatic whites, Masseria Li Veli offers a portfolio that embodies the essence of Apulia's winemaking heritage.
