Quoco Pty Ltd, which stands for “Quality Organic Company”, is today a successful Italian Wine Importing business based in Melbourne. But how did everything begin?

Director Roberto Catania arrived in Australia in 2015. Born and raised in Milan he brought his passion and enthusiasm for his country to the hospitality industry in Melbourne. Working at a variety of bars and restaurants, he quickly built a strong network in the Italian restaurant scene.

In 2017 Roberto started working for the Company which at that time was owned by one of the first Italian Sommelier that migrated to Australia and that started to import wines from Puglia.

Quoco Pty Ltd – now as it is then - is focused on importing wines from Puglia from small niche wine makers, which offer quality and uniqueness.

Our Portfolio aims for quality and not quantity. We offer a select range of unique wines and varieties not commonly found on Australian wine lists and bottle shops. Not only do we offer a selection of wines from Puglia, but also from the other great regions of Italy.

Vignamaggio Winery from Tuscany and Castello di Roncade Winery from Veneto are some of the other extraordinary labels we have in our portfolio. Be assured that we will meet your expectations in bringing the best taste of Italy to your door.

In July 2019, Roberto took over the company changing only the business name in Quoco S.R.L Imports but keeping what has made the group famous and unique, the name QUOCO and the company core business on quality italian wines.

In 2020 Quoco’s website was launched providing customers the opportunity to purchase their favourite wines delivered directly to their door while maintaining the focus on a small exclusive portfolio only otherwise found in the best Melbourne, Sydney & Noosa restaurants.
