Cordero Mario Bèch Nebbiolo

Bèch is Cordero Mario's Langhe Nebbiolo DOC, sourced from vineyards in Castiglione Falletto and Monforte d'Alba. The grapes are destemmed but not pressed to keep the berries intact, with roughly 5% whole-bunch vinification, followed by fermentation in stainless steel and malolactic fermentation in tonneaux, then around 12 months' ageing in French oak. In the glass it shows an intense, bright ruby red colour, with fruity notes of small red berries and floral hints of rose and violet, layered with a light, delicate spiciness. On the palate it is fresh yet intense, with pleasant, soft tannins. The label was hand designed by the Cordero siblings' grandmother, Luciana Vietti.
