Tenuta Di Bibbiano
Bibbiano is one of the oldest estates in the Chianti Classico region, continuously owned by the same family for generations. Today, it is run by brothers Tommaso and Federico Marrocchesi Marzi, who are dedicated to preserving the family’s long-standing traditions. Our philosophy revolves around responsibility and consistency: responsibility for the land, the Chianti region, and the exceptional wines we produce, and consistency in honoring our vocation, respecting the unique nature of our territory, and continuing our family heritage. With a rich history and a deep commitment to sustainability, Bibbiano stands as a testament to the timeless excellence of Chianti Classico.
Bibbiano's vineyards cover approximately 30 hectares, beautifully positioned between 270 and 310 meters above sea level on the hillsides of the Chianti Classico region. These vineyards benefit from an excellent microclimate and Pliocene-era clay-limestone soils, contributing to the distinctive quality of our wines. Surrounded by over 3,000 olive trees, our vineyards produce wines that embody the authentic flavors of the region. From our carefully nurtured Sangiovese grapes to our refined blends, each bottle of Bibbiano wine reflects our deep respect for the land, tradition, and the timeless art of winemaking.
