Tenuta di Bibbiano Chianti Classico Gran Selezione Vigne Di Montornello

Vigne di Montornello is Tenuta di Bibbiano's single-vineyard Chianti Classico Gran Selezione from 100% Sangiovese grown on the cooler, north-east facing Montornello slopes. Fermented for over 30 days and aged 24 months partly in cement and partly in French oak, with a further 6 months in bottle, it shows an intense ruby red with garnet hues and aromas of cherry, sour black cherry and ripe red fruit layered with underbrush and spice. Dense yet lively on the palate, with persistent length. Pairs beautifully with braised short rib, wild game or aged pecorino.
