Vinden Wines Somerset Semillon

Sourced from the Somerset Vineyard, from blocks planted by the Howard family in 1965 and 1969 over fine clay loam soil, with fruit handpicked in early February. The juice was fermented on fine solids across stainless steel, a concrete pyramid and neutral oak, with extended lees contact to build complexity.

The result shows the character of the old gnarled vines: refreshing natural acidity, citrus fruit, delicate texture and minerality. Handcrafted by Angus Vinden at 11.3% alcohol by volume.
